Our Veterans
Herman, Shipping and Receiving, Army
Herman enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1977. He was in operational missions in Communications & Signaling where he was responsible for setting up radars.
Mike, Procurement Manager, Air Force
Mike served 29 years in the United States Air Force. He enlisted at the age of 18 as an aircraft maintenance scheduler and spent 6 years on active duty. Duty assignments included Kirkland AFB NM Spangdahlem AB Germany and Barksdale AFB Louisiana. Upon completion of his active-duty commitment he transferred to the Wisconsin Air National Guard. After six years of service in the Air National Guard he was promoted to officer and served in several different leadership positions. He also participated in numerous deployments to Turkey, Afghanistan and Iraq. He retired at the rank of Major.
Ian, Weld Shop, Marine Corps
Ian served two years in Okinawa Japan and two years at Camp Pendleton California. He also completed multiple deployments to the Philippines, Thailand and Korea. During his service he competed in numerous Marine Corps Rifle Competitions. He ranked 15th in Expert Rifle category and 12th in Pistol category, and was a three-time Bronze Rifle award recipient.
Lauren, Director of National Sales, Coast Guard
Lauren Beck is a graduate of the US Coast Guard Academy and served six years Active Duty as an officer. Operational assignments included roles within Public Affairs, primarily the Maritime Prevention mission, conducting inspections on foreign vessels to ensure compliance with international regulations, and marine casualty investigations.
Jodi, employee spouse, Marines
We’d like to give an honorable mention to Jodi, the wife of our colleague Dan who supports the Fox Valley Elevator Weld Shop. Jodi served four years in the Marines and was deployed to Desert Storm.
